In May I have been loving my Figs & Rouge pomegranate lip balm. It is really soft and balmy, but not as shiny as a lot of my other lip balms.
I have also fallen in love with DKNY's Red Delicious eau de parfum again. It is such a nice, clean, fresh scent.
I received a tin of mini Impulse sprays for Christmas and I have been using True Love this month. The scent is freesia and tangerine and it is one of my favourite scents by Impulse. My sister-in-law got a gift set for me with the eau de toilette version of this scent which I also love.
I splashed out recently and bought myself a beautiful 18ct gold diamond necklace. The chain is different to the picture, but the pendant is the same. I absolutely love square set diamonds. I think they look beautiful and the diamond is 1/3 of a carat. I absolutely love this necklace. I need to wear it more!
I have been using this I Love... Mango and Papaya hand wash this month and the scent is gorgeous; sweet and fruity and right up my street.
I rediscovered my favourite Elizabeth Arden lipstick this month. I have a few colours from this range but my favourite is Barely There. It is a gorgeous colour and glides on perfectly.
Finally I wore my ASOS boots again this month. I got them last summer and I have never been more in love with a pair of boots in my entire life! I have only worn them two or three times because I want to keep these until the day I die so wearing them out in their first year would just be stupid. I wish I'd bought two pairs the same. I can't say how much I love these. They go with everything too. I wore them with nude tights and a black dress.

DKNY Delicious Collection!
I've been loving my DKNY Delicious fragrances lately. I have found myself using Red Delicious a lot. It is such a lovely, fresh scent.
Today I opted for Be Delicious ☕ Paris which is a floral fragrance that differs a lot from other Be Delicious releases.
I adore all of the Sweet Delicious line and the Delicious Delights line as well so they are always popular choices for me to wear.
Here are some photos of my whole collection of DKNY Be Delicious fragrances.

First Impressions Of The New DKNY And Marc Jacobs Ranges!
I finally got to try the new DKNY range this week after trying the Marc Jacobs range last week.

I will give the DKNY fragrances another try, but I was quite disappointed with the version in the orange bottle, Citrus Pulse and the version in the pink bottle, Loving Glow. They didn't seem to last long at all.
Bright Crush which comes in the green bottle was the best of the bunch. It has notes of honeydew melon, bergamot, blackcurrant, plum, frangipani, peony, golden amber, vanilla and creamy woods.
It has a sweet, fruity scent.
I also tried the Marc Jacobs range and loved them all. They have that signature Marc Jacobs scent which is instantly recognisable in almost all of the Marc Jacobs fragrances in the Daisy range.
I have to say Daisy Dream Blush was my favourite of the three.
It has notes of pear, water lily, honeysuckle, woods and musk.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
I wonder what 2016 has in store for us! It looks as though these DKNY Be Delicious Electric fragrances will be coming out this month.

In pink we have Loving Glow.
I'm not sure why the boxes pictured all have 'Citrus Pulse' written on them as Bright Crush and Loving Glow are not supposed to be citrusy.
DKNY says:
Bright Crush, a scent that allegedly reflects the love of freedom and confidence, opening with juicy Honeydew melon, bergamot, blackcurrant and plum. The heart includes frangipani and peony. Golden amber, vanilla and creamy woods end the composition.
Citrus Pulse begins with fresh fruity and citrusy accords of nectarine, mandarin and passion fruit. Jamsine absolut, frangipani flower and magnolia form the floral heart of the composition, placed on the base of musk, woods and benzoin.
Loving Glow is shining with fruity notes of grape, blackcurrant and pineapple on the top, with a heart of purple violet, apricot and jasmine. The base consists of vanilla, amber wood and musk.
I look forward to trying these fragrances. From the list of notes I am most intrigued to try Loving Glow. You hardly ever see pineapple listed in the notes of a fragrance so it'll be interesting to see what this one is like. The past few years I have ended up buying all of the DKNY releases so we'll have to wait and see whether or not these end up in my collection!

Their names seem to link in with Valentine's Day.

My 2015 perfumes!
In my opinion 2015 hasn't been a great year for fragrance.
I got 9 newly released fragrances this year which is less than 2013 and 2014, although there are a few on the want list that still haven't made their way into my collection.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Sorbet and Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet were released at the beginning of 2015 both of which are lovely. I have bought the Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh limited edition releases over the past few years and they have all been really nice.
Daisy Sorbet is a lovely white floral scent with a hint of sweet violet. It is very uplifting and it makes me think of springtime.
Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet is a much sweeter, fruitier scent. It is my favourite of the two which is great because it comes in a larger 75ml bottle; Daisy Sorbet comes in a 50ml bottle.
Nina Ricci Delices de Nina was also released early in the year. It is quite sweet and is an obvious relative of the original Nina with its metallic-like scent. I have to admit it is similar to other Nina Ricci releases in the apple shaped bottles, but I do really like it.
I bought Chanel Chance Eau Vive as soon as it came out. It is a nice addition to the Chance line. It has its own personality. It is citrusy but also floral. I really like it, but the original Chance and Chance Eau Fraiche are my favourites from this amazing line.
DKNY Delicious Delights Dreamsicle is a sweet, peach scented fragrance. It is light and summery. This was released alongside Delicious Delights Cool Swirl and Delicious Delights Fruity Rooty and although I think they're all terribly named they are all great, original scents; not smelling similar to the other fragrances from the Be Delicious line.
DKNY Delicious Delights Cool Swirl is pistachio scented. It is quite sweet, but it also has a play-doh type scent to it.
DKNY Delicious Delights Fruity Rooty combines delicious, sweet berries with violet and rose. This is the sweetest of the three fragrances.
I couldn't choose a favourite of the three Delicious Delights fragrances. They are all so different and uniquely delightful.
I got Marc Jacobs Violet for Christmas. It has a sweet, creamy floral scent with a touch of fizziness. It doesn't really smell like violets at all to me.
I ordered Vera Wang Hippie Princess online today. I tried it when it first came out and really liked it. It is a sweet, fruity scent. I wonder if 2016 will see another Princess release.
There are some other fragrances from 2015 that I do want to add to my collection, but have not purchased yet, Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever, Jimmy Choo Illicit and Marc Jacobs Decadence being the main fragrances I have my eye on!

September Favourites!
I have made a few rediscoveries this month. I have been a fan of No7's blushers since I first tried them when I was in my teens. Apricot Blossom is my favourite colour. It is a reddish pink. I have tried loads of other blushers, but No7 is my favourite. It has no shimmer in it and the colour is perfect for me. I have found it difficult to find a colour that suits me more from other brands.
I love my Tangle Teezer. I have been using it more often than my usual paddle hair brush this month. I would definitely buy another one.
I recently posted a picture of my autumn fragrances, but this month I have found myself reaching for DKNY Sweet Delicious Tart Key Lime which is more of a summer scent. I love this fragrance. It is sharp and sweet at the same time. It is a 2013 fragrance, but it sometimes comes up on allbeauty.com.
I had a Pumpkin Pie candle left over from last year which I have managed to burn right through this month. It has a lovely scent. I love pumpkin scented candles. Bath and Body Works have a good range, but I don't have access to them, being from outside of the USA.
This month I found myself digging out my Ted Baker Jorja heels which I bought a few years back. They are a patent nude colour with a subtle iridescence.
I've also been using Carex's cola bottle flavoured hand wash this month. I love this one and I also love the strawberry laces and chocolate orange scented hand washes that they do. I think they should bring out even more fun flavours. It makes a difference when an everyday item like hand wash, shower gel or shampoo are made that little bit more exciting!

Spring Spending!
In the past few weeks I've bought a few things to get me in the mood for spring.
I got this lovely mint coloured top from New Look for just £12.99.
I also got the peach floral necklace from New Look for £5.99. I love the design and I've worn the necklace a few times already.
I also got the peach floral necklace from New Look for £5.99. I love the design and I've worn the necklace a few times already.
I bought DKNY's Delicious Delights offerings and they are all amazing.
The pink and purple one is called Fruity Rooty and combines blackberry, blueberry and violet.
The green one is called Cool Swirl and its main notes are black cranberry, violet leaf and creamy pistachio sorbet.
The peach and pink one is called Dreamsicle and this one is my favourite. It has notes of blueberry and peach with a creamy, woody base with an almost papery quality.
They are all lovely. Admittedly they don't last very long, but they are nice freshening up scents for the spring and summer.
I also bought Marc Jacobs Daisy Sorbet and Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet.
Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet is my favourite of the two, being the more fruity and vibrant offering with a lovely sweet scent of mandarin, apple and also violet to balance the fragrance out a bit.
Daisy Sorbet has a fresh scent with notes of wisteria and lily of the valley alongside powdery violet.
I must also mention my gorgeous, pastel purple coloured pointed toe shoes.

I absolutely love them. I saw them in Tesco from their Florence and Fred range and didn't buy them straight away. When I went back for them a few days later they were reduced from an amazing £15.00 to a shocking £7.00! I love them. They are such a nice colour, they scream springtime and they have quite low heels as well, which means they're perfect for daytime wear.
I have also ordered a pair of patent, pointed toe shoes in pastel blue with a slightly higher heel. I ordered them very.co.uk and they are by Shoe Box. They cost just £18.00 and they are also available in other pastel colours; yellow, purple, pink.

New 2015 perfumes!
There are so many fragrances coming out this year that I want to try.
Nina Ricci L'Extase is a rose based fragrance, which is out now, but I haven't had the chance to try it out yet.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Sorbet is also out already and is another one I haven't had the chance to try yet. It sounds like a delightful fruity-floral scent. It has passion fruit in the top notes and I love passion fruit so I look forward to trying this.
DKNY Delicious Delights Dreamsicle has notes including mandarin, peach and apricot so I don't think I'm going to be able to resist it.
DKNY Delicious Delights Cool Swirl has an interesting combination of notes including black cranberry, creamy pistachio sorbet, heliotrope and patchouli. I think this will be very different from the other fragrances in the Be Delicious range.
DKNY Delicious Delights Fruity Rooty sounds more of a fruity-floral scent with notes of blackberry, blueberry, mandarin, rose, violet, candied apple sorbet, lily and vanilla. I like the bottles for these Delicious Delights fragrances as well. They are lovely pastel colours.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet is in stores already, but I have yet to try it. I expect it to be a lovely, springtime fruity-floral.
Jimmy Choo Exotic is released in 2015 in a blue bottle. It was previously released in 2013 in a pink bottle and 2014 in an orange bottle. The new Exotic has exactly the same composition as the previous two releases, which is cheating a bit, but it is a great scent and I like the new blue bottle design.
Jimmy Choo Blossom was released in January 2015. It has a tropical, fruity scent and reminds me of something that Escada might release. It is nothing like Flash, which was the first fragrance to be released in this bottle shape.
Nina Ricci Les Delices de Nina has notes of mandarin, lemon, strawberry, caramel, raspberry, praline and white musk. I think this is going to be a bakery-sweet scent like the last release from this line, La Tentation de Nina, which was lovely. I'm looking forward to trying this one out.
Lanvin Marry Me! Confettis is the latest fragrance from the Marry Me! line. It is described as being lighter and brighter than its predecessors. I wasn't keen on the original Marry Me! fragrance, but have enjoyed some of the releases since. Marry Me! a la folie is my favourite.
Escada Turquoise Summer is another typical Escada summer release. It is very fruity and tropical.
Annick Goutal L'Ile Au The sounds like an interesting fragrance with notes of mandarin pulp, mandarin blossom, osmanthus, green tea and white musk. I'm looking forward to trying this fragrance. It is unisex and I have a feeling it is going to be a case of you either love it or hate it.
Diesel Loverdose Red Kiss is described as a floriental, gourmand fragrance and it has notes of orange blossom, hazelnut and amber. I have heard it is as strong as the original Loverdose is.
Marc Jacobs Violet has a lovely bottle design and has notes of bergamot, white lily, violet, patchouli and vanilla.
Lolita Lempicka L'Eau En Blanc Edition Perles is due for release in April 2015. It has notes of violet leaf, iris, raspberry, white violets, heliotrope and musk. I liked the original L'Eau En Blanc fragrance, but it wasn't my favourite release from Lolita Lempicka. I look forward to trying this one though.

Jimmy Choo Love and DKNY Delicious Delights
I'm feeling rather annoyed at the minute because I adore Jimmy Choo fragrances and I noticed that they have announced a 'new' fragrance they are calling, Jimmy Choo Love.
The fragrance notes are exactly the same as the notes in the original Jimmy Choo eau de parfum and looking at the photo of the 'new' version all they are doing is taking bottles of the original Jimmy Choo eau de parfum and sliding a limited edition sleeve over the top of the normal packaging.
The fragrance will only be available in the smaller 40ml bottles.
This is going to make collectors look like mugs. It's not a new fragrance and they couldn't even be bothered to put it in a new box, yet they think it's ok to give it a different name and justify it by putting it in a cardboard sleeve.
I think it's misleading giving a perfume more than one name.
In other news I have heard there are three new DKNY fragrances coming out this year.
I must admit this is another example of a company that take the mick a bit releasing new Delicious fragrances three at a time trying to make as much money as possible in the shortest space of time possible.
At least they change the bottles and scents.
I have bought quite a lot of different fragrances from the Delicious rang and I look forward to trying these too.
Once these three are released there will be a total of 46 Delicious fragrances that have been released since the original Be Delicious kicked it all off back in 2004 and that's just the women's range. There are also Delicious fragrances for men.
Delicious Delights Fruity Rooty, which has notes of mandarin, raspberry, blueberry, rose, violet, candied apple sorbet, lily and vanilla.
This Delight comes in a pink and purple coloured bottle.
Finally there is Delicious Delights Dreamsicle, which has notes of mandarin, raspberry, blueberry, green apple, peach nectar, apricot sorbet, cedar, sandalwood and vanilla.
This comes in an orange and pink bottle.

My 2014 perfumes!
I have built up quite a collection of new fragrances in 2014.
I have bought 19 new releases from this year.
Vera Wang Forever Vera is very difficult to get hold of. It was supposed to be exclusive to Kohl's in the USA. It is a really nice, well balanced fragrance. It is quite a mature scent.
I have bought 19 new releases from this year.
Marc Jacobs released more limited edition Daisy fragrances, Daisy Delight and Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight, both of which I love.
Daisy Dream came afterwards with a unique bottle design.
Jimmy Choo have had some fantastic releases in 2014. Exotic was re-released in an orange bottle for 2014.
Flash London Club was a fragrance I was really excited about. It has a similar scent to the original Flash, which is my favourite.

Stars is a limited edition release from Jimmy Choo. It was probably the last thing my fiancé ever bought me before becoming my husband and it was a great gift. It has a scent along the same lines as the original Jimmy Choo fragrance and the longevity is just as impressive.
Cacharel Noa L'Eau was a limited edition release for the summer. The original Noa fragrance is one of my favourites and this version is a light, fresh and slightly aquatic interpretation.
DKNY's MYNY was released in the summer and it is something really different from DKNY. I have lots of fragrances from the Be Delicious range, but this is a lovely, sophisticated, floral scent. I haven't heard much hype about it, but it really is a lovely scent.
DKNY did release a few new fragrances from the Be Delicious range, which I bought into.
There was Golden Delicious Sparkling Apple, Be Delicious Sparkling Apple and Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Sparkling Apple. In the UK these fragrances are only available from The Fragrance Shop.
They are all lovely and fresh, but they do smell similar to previous releases from the Be Delicious range.

Vera Wang's Princess Power is the latest release from the Princess collection. Like last year's release, Pink Princess, Princess Power is only available in 30ml or 50ml bottles, which annoyed me. It is a lovely, crowd pleasing, fruity-floral fragrance.
Vera Wang Be Jeweled Rouge is another 2014 release. It is really sweet and fruity. I love it.
Lolita Lempicka Minuit Sonne is an amazing fragrance. The deep liquorice flower note seems more prominent than in the original Lolita Lempicka fragrance. I love the fragrance, but the bottle has glitter on it, which comes off onto your hands, which is a bit annoying.
Tom Ford Velvet Orchid is a strong, warming fragrance. I love this fragrance. It is unique, mature and lasts well.
Nina Ricci's La Tentation de Nina is another beautiful scent. It is bakery-sweet and really different to other Nina releases. I think this was a great offering and I look forward to trying next year's Nina Ricci fragrance, Les Délices de Nina.
Juicy Couture's Juicy Couture Malibu was released for the summer alongside Couture La La Malibu, which I have not picked up yet. Juicy Couture Malibu is a lovely summer scent. It is similar to the original, Juicy Couture fragrance, but is a bit less harsh. It has a very light, fresh feel to it. I really like this fragrance, but I have to admit it isn't the longest lasting fragrance.
Chanel No 5 Eau Premiere isn't technically a new fragrance for 2014. It was originally released in 2007, but in 2014 it was released in the classic, rectangular Chanel bottle. It is a lovely scent. It is similar to the original No 5, but this one seems lighter and has a more sparkling opening.
2014 has seen the release of many other lovely fragrances that I have not managed to add to my collection yet and I hope 2015 will bring lots of new and exciting fragrances that will no doubt mean my collection will grow and my shelf space will shrink!

August clothing/shoes/perfume haul!
With my holidays still to come I haven't been able to resist a bit of shopping.
I've just bought this lovely jacket from New Look. It looks even nicer in real life and it certainly brightens up an outfit.

I also bought these shorts from Primark, but don't worry I won't be wearing them with the above (or below) jacket! They're a bit outrageous for me, but I'll probably only ever wear them on holiday!
The photo is from Primark's Twitter page.

I also bought one of these gorgeous bags in powder blue. From the two different styles in the photo I much prefer the one with the double buckle fastening on the front, but they didn't do it in powder blue.
They did do it in this gorgeous spotty print though and I was tempted to buy both bags, but sadly left this one on the shelf. I'll definitely buy it if I get the chance to go back any time soon as it's adorable.
I also ordered these wedges this week. I haven't bought a pair of wedges for ages. These are on modatoi.co.uk.
I was also really pleased to find DKNY Sweet Delicious Tart Key Lime perfume from allbeauty.com. I have mentioned this before in previous posts. I was going to get it last year, but it was out of stock everywhere.
I'm so pleased I've managed to find it.

The 2013 perfumes in my collection!
There have been so many fantastic fragrances released in 2013.
Here are 13 that I have added to my collection.
Here are 13 that I have added to my collection.
I bought the 3 DKNY Be Delicious Art editions. I love the design on the bottles.
Escada Cherry In The Air also comes in a cute bottle with a cute bow around the neck. It also has a lovely design on the box. It is a lovely summer fragrance.
Jimmy Choo Flash is my favourite perfume. I love the bottle and the scent is so unique. I love it. I can't wait for the new version, which is due for release on 3rd February 2014.
Jimmy Choo Exotic is a delicious scent that I wanted for months before I finally got my hands on it.
Miss Dior released their scent as an eau de toilette early this year. I got this for Christmas from my other half this year.
Cacharel Amor Amor is a lovely limited edition of the original Amor Amor.
L'eau Jolie is a lovely fresh, clean scent that smells very similar to DKNY Fresh Blossom Art, but it comes in an even nicer apple-shaped bottle.
I was mega excited to see the release of Vera Wang's latest addition to the Princess range and this is a lovely sparkling scent, well represented by its bottle.
Marc Jacobs Sunshine Editions were supposedly released in 2012, but they certainly didn't turn up in my local Boots until February 2013:
Marc Jacobs Daisy Sunshine is an amazing scent. I absolutely adore it. I hate the fact that this was a limited edition.
Oh Lola Sunsheer is delicious. I find it so difficult to say which of this Marc Jacobs range is my favourite as they are all amazing.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Sunshine was the first scent that I purchased from this range and I ended up going back to Boots the same day to buy Daisy Sunshine. These three are joint second favourites after Jimmy Choo Flash!
2013 also saw the release of Chanel Chance, Chanel Chance Eau Tendre and Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche in large 150ml bottles. They were previously only available in smaller bottles; 100ml and 50ml.
I bought Chanel Chance and Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche in 150ml bottles, but I already had a nearly full 100ml bottle of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre and I didn't have another £80.00 to spare.

Nina Ricci fragrances and limited edition fragrances in general!
I'm a bit obsessed with perfume at the minute. I have my eye on all
things Nina Ricci as I am in love with the Ricci Ricci perfume my sister
bought me a while ago as a birthday gift.
The 2011 release, which I hope to add to my collection very soon, was this Reflets Mysterieux (which translates to Mysterious Reflections).
There are a few other fragrances, which I really want, but you can't buy anywhere. There is Cacharel Amor Amor In A Flash, which came out at the beginning of 2013, but by the end it is nowhere to be found.
There is also Marc Jacobs Daisy Silver edition, which was released back in 2009, but is now impossible to buy.
A lot of them are only from last year or the year before and they're no longer available.
It's annoying how limited the limited editions are these days. I hope I manage to find a few of these to add to my collection.
The bottle is gorgeous. The scent is even nicer with top notes of rhubarb and bergamot; heart notes of moonflower, Indian tuberose and Centifolia rose and base notes of sandalwood and patchouli.
It is sweet and bitter at the same time. It is quite a heavy and mature scent. I would definitely recommend it.

Even though I have had this for a while I have now got it into my head that I need all of the other fragrances in the range. The fragrance was first launched in 2009.
This fragrance, Dancing Ribbons, first launched in 2010, has an equally gorgeous bottle.

I really want this. I was a bit concerned that one of the notes in this
is ginger as I find that it can be too harsh for me, but a lot of the
reviews I have read say that it doesn't dominate the fragrance and it is
not too harsh or overpowering so hopefully I'll love it as much as the
gorgeous bottle.
The top notes are listed as ginger, raspberry and
rhuburb; the heart notes are tuberose and rose; the base notes are
sandalwood and patchouli so it has quite a similar composition to the
original, Ricci Ricci. The 2011 release, which I hope to add to my collection very soon, was this Reflets Mysterieux (which translates to Mysterious Reflections).
Another gorgeous bottle and a similar composition.
Its top notes offer rhubarb accords. The heart notes are Centifolia rose and moonflower and the base closes with a sensual and elegant patchouli trail.
There was another fragrance added to the collection in 2012, Mademoiselle Ricci, which seems to move away from the original composition in favour of something a bit different. This fragrance has top notes of wild rose and pink pepper; heart notes of nerium oleander, rose hip and laurels and base notes of white wood and musk.

2013's summer release was Mademoiselle Ricci L'Eau, which came in a pink frosted bottle.
This offering has notes of rose, peony and lychee.
I have been looking for this fragrance, but cannot find it to buy anywhere on the internet, which seems ridiculous as it was only released this summer.
On the subject of fragrances that are difficult to find, I have been wanting Vera Wang Flower Princess for ages now. I have all of the other Princess fragrances in the range, but Flower Princess was first released back in 2006, the same year as the original Princess was launched and was available as limited edition world-wide, while permanently available to the Asian market.
On Friday I was browsing www.allbeauty.com, formerly known as cheapsmells.com and they are selling the 100ml bottle of Flower Princess for just £34.00.
I was over the moon and my other half kindly offered to purchase it for me there and then so I am very excited about it arriving in the post in the next few days. It'll be great to finally complete the set.

There are loads of DKNY fragrances that I'd love to own too, but they are impossible to find limited editions.
