10 Of My All Time Favourite Make-Up Products!

These are the make-up products that I have gone back to over and over again, all of which can be found in my make-up bag.

I have bought Benefit's Lemon Aid numerous times now. I have been using it for at least 7 years. I use it as a eyeshadow primer. It is a light yellow colour so it is also great for covering redness, but I find it a bit too thick to use as a concealer. My eyeshadow looks a lot better with this as a base. I have tried other eyeshadow primers but this is my favourite.

I love matte eyeshadows and this Urban Decay Naked Basics palette is amazing. I use it almost every day. You can even use the matte black shadow as an eyeliner.

MAC's 217 blending brush is my favourite brush ever! I love it. The shape and density is perfect for blending out eyeshadow.

MUA's Undressed palette is my favourite shimmery eyeshadow palette. The shades in it are gorgeous and the eyeshadows are good quality and very pigmented.

I have been using MAC's blush in the shade, Melba for about 18 months and I love it. My previous favourite was by No.7.

Collection's Lasting Perfection concealer gives great coverage. It is quite thick so I sometimes mix it with a little bit of moisturising cream to thin it out a bit.

Barry M's Brow Kit is great! I use it all of the time and I even use the little brush that comes with it and find it to be quite good. I don't really use the tweezers as they are quite difficult to nip together. I love this kit though!

Nars Laguna bronzer is the best bronzer I have used. It is light enough to use on my fair skin without looking harsh or muddy. I don't use it every day, but I really like it.

Dr Jart's Regenerating BB Cream has been a favourite for years. It's amazing how a product with such a light coverage can really improve the look of your skin. I wear this daily and I love it!

MAC's lipstick in Ruby Woo is my most used red lipstick. It is matte and I find it really easy to apply. It is not my most used lipstick overall; just my most popular red lipstick.
I have found it difficult to choose favourites for some items such as eyeliner, foundation, lipstick or mascara because I tend to regularly change the brands I buy and I'm not in love with one particular product.

How I'd Spend £500.00 in Debenhams!

If I had £500.00 to blow in Debenhams here is how I would do it.

I'd start off with Marc Jacobs Divine Decadence. The 100ml eau de parfum is £96.00. I love the original Decadence. I wore it yesterday and could smell it all day!

Next I would pick up Too Faced Candlelight glow powder for £25.00.

I would buy two new MAC make-up brushes; MAC 239 eyeshader brush for £21.00 and MAC 227 large fluff brush £23.50.

I would try Kat Von D's Studded Kiss lipstick for £16.00. I'm not a huge fan of the packaging. It looks rather bulky but look at the cute little Kat Von D logo on the lipstick and how nice is the colour in the picture?

I don't think I've ever bought clothes from Wallis before but they have loads of lovely stuff at the minute. This gorgeous, berry top is £35.00.

MAC's dusky rose eyeshadow palette is just £25.00 which I think is amazing value.

If £500.00 doesn't make itself available for me to blow I will be putting Clinique's Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator on my Christmas list. It is £34.00 for 50ml. I had a 15ml sample of this a while ago and loved it!

Tom Ford's White Patchouli is £108.00 for 100ml. It is another long lasting scent and it has been on my want list for years.

I would also get myself a Clinique chubby stick intense moisturising lip colour balm for £17.50.

Another purchase I would make would be Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Serum for £72.00.

I also love this cute Red Herring white pompom hat which is only £8.00.

My final purchase would be this Miss Selfridge gingham pink/cream/camel scarf, which is £16.00 and takes my total spend to £497.00.

I think that would be £497.00 well spent!

February Favourites 2016!

There are a lot of products that I have been loving this month.

No.7's Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover is excellent for removing waterproof mascara. I wear waterproof mascara every day so I am pleased to have a product that removes it so easily.

I got Guerlain's La Petite Robe Noire last month and I have been loving it. It has a lovely, deep tea note in it. It's become one of my favourite scents.

My MAC 217 brush is probably my favourite brush for applying and blending eyeshadow. Whenever I introduce a new brush to my collection I always end up going back to this one.

I have used up most of my EOS lip balm now and I absolutely love it. I will definitely have to buy another EOS lip balm. It is my favourite lip balm that I have ever used.

I love my MAC blush. I bought it in shade Melba, which is my current favourite cheek colour. It looks great on.

Soap and Glory Scrub Your Nose In It is a great facial scrub and mine has been getting a lot of us this month.

I have a purse spray of Avon's Strictly Ballroom Beauty eau de toilette, which has a lovely, light floral scent. I have had this in my handbag this month and I love the scent. It is so uplifting and the purse spray is so handy to carry around with you.
I also have the full size bottle of this fragrance.

Finally I have been using Dove's plum and sakura blossom body wash. I have used this one several times before and I love the scent of it. It is really creamy and moisturising as well.

Autumn Desires - Make-Up!

There are loads of make-up items that I am after at the minute.
I love Urban Decay's eyeshadow palettes. I have used a few of them, but I still don't own Naked, Naked 2, Naked 3 or the Naked Smoky palette.
I love the Smoky palette and I think Naked 3 has some lovely warm shades in it so they are the two I am lusting after the most.
I have just started on a new Rimmel Scandal Eyes Lycra Flex mascara (left) and I love it, but it isn't waterproof and I tend to get smudges under my eyes if I wear a mascara which is not waterproof so I want to try something different. I have tried Rimmel's Scandal Eyes waterproof mascara and I really liked it, but I also really liked Maybelline's The Rocket Volum' Express waterproof mascara. Although I liked both of them I want to try something different next and Maybelline's Colossal Volum' Express mascara (right) is also waterproof so I think I might give this one a go.

Nars Laguna bronzer has been on my list for way too long.

I really want to try the Barry M Daylight Curing nail polishes. They are supposed to be quite thick gel-like polishes. Barry M claim that they deliver the look and resilience of pro salon gel nails without a UV lamp or the expense. There is no need for a base coat as the special formulation bonds to the nail like a gel in daylight, but can still be removed with a normal nail polish remover. I have used the Avon gel polishes and I find that you can peel the nail polish off your nails. Instead of it chipping a bit at a time you can peel the whole thing off in one.
The range doesn't have too many colours yet, but I love the pink/purple coloured one, which is called Fuchsia Generation and the nude coloured one which is called Do It Like A Nude.

I think MAC's Springsheen blush looks a lovely colour. I have been trying to decide on a blush colour for a while and I have similar colours from other brands which I think suit my skin tone so this has made it onto my list.

An eyeliner that I am interested in is the Seventeen Tattoo Me Semi Permanent liquid eyeliner. It claims to last for 48 hours. I swatched it and it wouldn't budge with soap and water. I had to use an oil based eye make-up remover to remove it. I wouldn't fancy making a mistake with this one.

There aren't any lip products I can think of that I am desperate to try. I have way too many lipsticks anyway. I'm sure there's some colours in my collection that I could rediscover.

March Favourites 2015

Here are a few of my favourite items that I have been using through March 2015.

First of all from Bourjois I have been using their amazing lip crayons in the shades Plum Russian, a lovely plum colour and Red Island, a bright red colour. They have a lovely glossy finish and they stay put on your lips. I think they are the best lip crayons I have tried.

I finally got to try some of the products from Wilko's Fruits range and this lime and ginger scented shower gel is lovely. The scent reminded me of lime ice pops. I want to try the lime and ginger soap as well.

Urban Decay Naked Basics palette has been my eyeshadow palette of choice this month. I adore matte shades and you can go subtle or dramatic with this palette. I've been wearing bright lip colours a lot this month so I have kept my eyeshadow simple.

I keep trying new lip balms, but I always end up going back to my amazing EOS lip balm, which is in the flavour medicated tangerine.

I adore my brown New Look boots and I wear them nearly every time I leave the house. I absolutely love them and if I could still get them I'd buy them again. I'll be so sad when these wear out! They are perfect for me!

I've also had quite a lot of wear out of my new boohoo 'Maia' dress. I love the style of it and it can easily be dressed up or down. I'm loving navy at the minute as well!

MAC's Ruby Woo lipstick has also been impressing me this month. It is a matte lipstick, but it doesn't dry my lips out and it stays put even when I am eating or drinking and it never smudges. I love this one!

I mentioned I had my eye on this emerald and diamond ring way back in 2013 and this year I finally bought it and I have worn it loads. The cluster is actually quite small and it looks lovely on my finger!

Cinderella - MAC and Jimmy Choo products!

Disney's Cinderella was out in UK cinemas yesterday, 13th March 2015!
MAC and Jimmy Choo have some cool products to celebrate the film's release.

MAC have created a Disney Cinderella range of make-up especially for them film's release. I think the packaging is really nice. The blue representing Cinderella's blue dress.

I think the round powder compact is the item I'd most like to own, but all of the make-up is already sold out on MAC's website, www.maccosmetics.co.uk.

Jimmy Choo have a pair of Cinderella shoes that are said to have reimagined the iconic glass slipper.

The shoes are lovely, but at £2995.00 I don't think I'll be buying them. They are available from the Jimmy Choo website, www.jimmychoo.com where it states each pair of 'Cinderella slippers' are made to order and will be delivered in October 2015. It also states as all orders are custom made they are also non-refundable.

I'm looking forward to seeing the 2015 Cinderella film.

My top 10 picks!

Trying to cut my spending is hard work. I have spotted so many things that I really want recently.

There are so many bright and beautiful clothes out for summer. Here are some pictures of what I'm lusting after at the moment.

The white spotty blazer is from boohoo.com

The 'raspberry red' chinos are from H&M where they are just £8.00 reduced from £14.99 so very tempting.

The turquoise structured skater dress is £35.00 from ASOS.com. I am not usually a fan of sleeves. I prefer sleeveless dresses as I'm always too hot, but this dress looks lovely.

The 'ochre' skirt is from ASOS.com for just £14.00.

The gorgeous red skirt is from Oasis where it is just £18.00 reduced from £25.00.

I really want to try The Body Shop's passion fruit shower gel. I love the smell of passion fruit and I doubt it can be anything, but amazing. This is currently on thebodyshop.co.uk for £3.00 reduced from £4.00 for the 250ml  bottle.

The colour block barrel bag is gorgeous and is also reduced from Oasis from £38.00 to £28.00.

I'm also really keen to try MAC's 224 tapered blending brush, which is £23.00 at Debenhams.

I have heard good things about Escada's Magnetism perfume, which I think it is about time I tried. It is currently available on allbeauty.com for £32.50 for the 75ml eau de parfum.

I also found these flat jelly sandals on my snoop around the internet. I thought the turquoise ones were nice, but you can also buy them in black, white, beige, clear sparkly and bright pink. They are from New Look for £7.49 reduced from £9.99.
