More 2014 perfumes!

I have already mentioned in previous posts that I really want to try the Marc Jacobs fragrances, Daisy Delight and Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight, which are coming out in the next few months.

I have tried Jimmy Choo Flash London Club, which I love, but I am struggling to find a 100ml bottle! I also want Nina Ricci's La Tentation de Nina, which came out in January. I have tried it in store and it is really nice, but I haven't purchased it yet.

Other 2014 fragrances that I am looking forward to trying are Jimmy Choo's Exotic 2014 version.
There was an Exotic released last year, which smells like berries combined with the signature from the original Jimmy Choo fragrance. I love it.
That was the pink coloured one, but this year will see the release of Exotic in orange, which I'm sure will be just as delicious.

Another fragrance that I'm sure I will like is Vera Wang Be Jeweled Rouge. Just looking at the bottle you can tell it is going to smell like berries and sure enough the notes are red currant, gardenia, sweet pralines and woody and musk accords.
I think this fragrance is out already, but I haven't seen or tried it yet.

Diesel Loverdose Tattoo

Today I tried Diesel's Loverdose Tattoo in Boots. I had seen it before, but hadn't bothered trying it as I didn't expect to like it.
I hated Loverdose when I first tried it a few years ago and it wasn't until last month that I tried it again and liked it so I ended up buying a bottle and now I love it.

I didn't expect to like Loverdose Tattoo, expecting it to be really dark and heavy like the bottle would suggest, but I actually found it light and fruity. I was really surprised. The scent doesn't go with the bottle at all!

The top notes are bergamot, mandarin orange and cassis.
The middle notes are rose, orange blossom and jasmine sambac.
The base notes are tonka bean, rice, vanilla and milk.

I prefer the bottle for the original Loverdose fragrance.

New releases from Irregular Choice for 2014!

Irregular Choice have brought out a new range recently, which I quite like. Their last range failed to impress me, but their new designs bring something new and different.

These unicorn heeled shoes, Full Of Grace are cool. I like them more than the bunny or gnome heeled shoes they released and I prefer them to the cat shoes, which have also just come out (see below).

These daisy shoes, Dippy Daisy are cute. They also come in red, but I much prefer the blue ones.

I like these pink butterfly and bow shoes. They are very busy and quite pretty. They are called Secret Pair.
Paw Print are another pair with unique heels, but I'm not as keen on the heel or the style of the shoe. They cost £125.00, which is more than I'd pay for these.

These are call Spot The Dot and aren't as high, but they are quite cute. You can also buy them in black.
Finally we have Naughty Smile, which are available in red or green. I think I prefer the green ones.

Beautiful baby blue shoes!

I love these shoes! They're even better when you find out that they're only £14.80 from modatoi.com!

Irregular Choice Sales Picks!

I love Irregular Choice shoes as I have mentioned before, but being unimpressed with their current range has saved me a fortune.
I have managed to find a few of the older styles that I do like in the sales.

I mentioned these blue tweed Oz shoes by Irregular Choice in a previous post. They were originally £74.99, but I have now found them reduced to just £34.99 on www.treds.co.uk.

These black floral print Can't Touch This shoes are just £40.00 reduced from £80.00 on www.usc.co.uk. This is one of the few colours I don't own this shoe in. I have about 10 pairs of Can't Touch This in different colours! I love the t-bar style and the big flowers on the toes, but I do prefer the colours that I already own!

These Slam Dunk wedges are well worth £29.50 reduced from their original price of £115.00 from www.letsbuyshoes.com. I love the marble effect on the wedge and the flowers on the front aren't too over the top!

5 sales picks!

The sales this month haven't been too bad afterall, but it certainly hasn't been my most successful January.

Here are a few items I fancy.

This gorgeous coat is from Debenhams by Red Herring and is reduced from £85.00 to £51.00. It is dark grey, but I'd love a black version.

These Burgundy Metal Tip Heeled Ankle Boots are from New Look and are available at the bargain price of £14.00 reduced from £29.99. I love these!
This cosy Ombre Snood is available from Topshop for £10.00 reduced from £20.00. I like the mint green colour. It is also available in black and orange at the same price.

I've had my eye on this Irregular Choice Charmer skirt for the best part of a year. It's a lovely, unique design and it is now on sale for just £20.00 reduced from £69.00. I might just have to have it!

I think you have to be careful with pink clothes. There's a certain shade of pink that I think looks terrible on everyone, but this lovely dress makes wearing pink look easy! To be fair I think the colour does lean towards red, but it is listed as pink online.
Carnival by Coast is reduced to just £19.00 from £75.00, which is a bargain!

My January Sales Picks!

I'm very tempted by a few items in the sales at the minute.

I wasn't too impressed when I looked online last week, but I have found some pretty good deals on fragrance gift sets on the Boots website and I have also found some sales bargains on the Oasis website.

If you spend over £100.00 on www.boots.com you can get £10.00 off with voucher code VC23DEC. The code is valid until 11th January so it would be handy if there's a perfume that you want for yourself or as a gift in the next few months.

There are some good sets for under £20.00 if you are on a budget.

I have the original Ghost, which I love and these gift sets are a great price. I really want Ghost Deep Night and Ghost Moonlight. There are a number of fragrances in the Ghost range, but these two are top of my list.

Davidoff Cool Water Woman is a lovely refreshing scent that I have been meaning to add to my collection for a while.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir is another lovely fragrance that I still haven't purchased, but I have wanted it since before it came out. I was all set to buy it one day in the summer when Boots had their points event on where you got loads of points for purchases over £30.00, but Boots don't stock the 100ml bottle and that is what I wanted so I was disappointed that day, but I will definitely own this fragrance one day.

I mentioned in a recent post that I only have two celebrity fragrances, but that has since gone up to three after I found a 100ml Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy gift set for £12.99 on the last day of 2013.
I'm not a huge fan of celebrity fragrances, but I have added a lot to my want list since watching so many perfume collection videos on youtube!

Kate Moss's Kate has had some great reviews and it is one I'd like to try.

If your budget can stretch a bit further there are some great deals for between £20.00 and £30.00.

I couldn't find Vera Wang's Be Jeweled anywhere when it first came out. It is a lovely scent and has a really pretty bottle.

Yellow Diamonds is one I have had my eye on for a while. I have Bright Crystal, which is the pink coloured version that comes with the same bottle design.
The testers for this fragrance are always 50ml or 90ml. In Europe last year I saw a 30ml bottle of Versace Yellow Diamonds out of the box and it is a really small bottle - a lot smaller than it looks in the picture so don't get caught out.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy is a must have fragrance. I love this scent and £23.00 isn't bad for the 30ml gift set.

Nina Ricci Nina is a lovely scent and would make a great gift.

I think Boots are offering Marc Jacobs Honey gift set for a great price. It works out cheaper to buy 2 of these gift sets than it does to buy the 100ml bottle from Boots, which is quite crazy!

Vera Wang Princess is what my blog is partly named after. It is another one with a pretty bottle and I love the box design too.

If you have even more Christmas money left over then the following gift sets are between £30.00 and £40.00.

Marc Jacobs Daisy gift set would make a great gift. I love this fragrance. I got mine in a gift set about a year ago, but I must confess I bought it for myself.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh is a fragrance I have wanted for ages. It is also available in a huge 125ml bottle.

Marc Jacobs Dot is another great deal here. It is a lovely, fruity scent. It reminds me of watermelon. I love the bottle for this as well.

Paco Rabanne Lady Million is one of the most popular fragrances that I still don't own, but it is one I expect to be purchasing in the next few months.

Chloe Eau de Parfum is a lovely, elegant scent. My other half bought me a gift set of this scent a few years ago and he paid nearly double the price that Boots are charging.

Elie Saab is one that I have wanted for ages as well and this is one of the best prices I have seen for it.

I wish fragrance gift sets were so readily available all year round.

On the Oasis website there are loads of lovely clothes and accesories in the sale. Here are a few of my picks.

About two years ago I became obsessed with white or cream tops and I bought loads. I still have a soft spot for neutral coloured tops as they are so easy to wear. They go with anything else that you want to wear and they can be dressed up or down.
I love the 'natural' coloured one, top left and the light pink cap sleeve top is really pretty.
I also love prints so and the white printed top is lovely.
I first spotted the daisy print dress about 3 months ago. I love the style of it, but I keep changing my mind about whether I like the print.
I love the denim skater skirt as well. It is a great price.
The jacquard trousers are another bargain. I have become quite obsessed with buying trousers recently. I love the colour of these ones.

There are plenty of other bargains to be had on www.oasis-stores.com.
