2014 - the year of the Marc Jacobs fragrance!

You're not going to believe me, but this morning I was watching a perfume collection video on youtube. Seeing the bottle of Honey by Marc Jacobs, I thought to myself I bet they will bring another fragrance out in a light pink version of the bottle.
At lunchtime I was on fragrantica.com and there it is announced as their next fragrance.

Due for release for summer 2014, this new eau de parfum is called Pink Honey and has top notes of mandarin, fruit punch and pear, heart notes of orange blossom, peach and honeysuckle and base notes of honey, vanilla and woods.

It is limited edition and it seems that it will only be released in a 50ml size bottle.

Marc Jacobs also have Daisy Dream, which is another summer 2014 release.

I hope Daisy Dream smells nice. I really fancy that one. I have almost everything from the Daisy line and love it all.
Daisy Dream will be released in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml bottles and it is an eau de toilette. It sounds a little bit different with accords of blackberries, pear, blue wisteria, jasmine and coconut water.
Marc Jacobs describes the scent as a more sophisticated and ethereal version of the original Daisy.

I feel Marc Jacobs are releasing these fragrances a bit too quickly for me to keep up with.

2014 has already seen two releases from Marc Jacobs; Daisy Delight and Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight both of which I have in my collection.

Shopping

I hit the shops yesterday and managed to escape with just one purchase, Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight, which I love.

I saw this lovely dress in New Look that I quite fancied. The colour is lovely and the style is casual and would even work when you are having a fat day! Haha!

I was looking online and I quite fancy trying these Avon Gel Finish nail polishes when they come out. They are going to be £7.00 each, but it seems they will be introduced at £3.50. There will be 24 different colours to choose from.

More perfume excitement!

Today I got to try the new Marc Jacobs fragrances Daisy Delight and Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight, which I found when I was shopping!
I asked in Boots and they said they would be getting them in and said the Marc Jacobs summer editions usually come in around April, but last year I bought the Sunshine editions in February so hopefully they'll get them in really soon as I want the advantage card points!
Both fragrances are delightful. It was love at first sniff.

I also got to try Escada's summer fragrance, Born In Paradise, which has only just hit the shops today. It is exotic and tropical.
It has top notes of pineapple and coconut milk, heart notes of watermelon, green apple and guava and woody and musky notes in the base.
It is very different. I really like this one.

I have still been unable to find Jimmy Choo's Flash London Club in the 100ml bottle. I want it so bad, but the department stores only had 1 or 2 bottles of the 60ml in!

I ended up buying Nina Ricci's La Tentation de Nina from Boots and I got a free Nina Ricci bag with it. I don't use these free products so I usually put them on ebay to get back some of the money I paid for the perfume. Some freebies go for a fortune as well.

More 2014 perfumes!

I have already mentioned in previous posts that I really want to try the Marc Jacobs fragrances, Daisy Delight and Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight, which are coming out in the next few months.

I have tried Jimmy Choo Flash London Club, which I love, but I am struggling to find a 100ml bottle! I also want Nina Ricci's La Tentation de Nina, which came out in January. I have tried it in store and it is really nice, but I haven't purchased it yet.

Other 2014 fragrances that I am looking forward to trying are Jimmy Choo's Exotic 2014 version.
There was an Exotic released last year, which smells like berries combined with the signature from the original Jimmy Choo fragrance. I love it.
That was the pink coloured one, but this year will see the release of Exotic in orange, which I'm sure will be just as delicious.

Another fragrance that I'm sure I will like is Vera Wang Be Jeweled Rouge. Just looking at the bottle you can tell it is going to smell like berries and sure enough the notes are red currant, gardenia, sweet pralines and woody and musk accords.
I think this fragrance is out already, but I haven't seen or tried it yet.
