Jimmy Choo Flash London Club

I couldn't get the 100ml bottle of Jimmy Choo Flash London Club I wanted anywhere. No department store stocks larger than 60ml and a lady in Debenhams told me that it was limited edition so was not available in the UK in bottles larger than 60ml.

The only place I could find the 100ml bottle online was worlddutyfree.com, where it teased with the £46.40 price tag, only £4.40 more than the 60ml would cost in Debenhams or House of Fraser, but you obviously can't buy online from worlddutyfree.com so my friend got the 100ml bottle for me when she was going on holiday and she gave it to me yesterday!

It smells similar to the original Flash, but they don't share many of the same notes.

Flash London Club has top notes of bergamot and lychee, a heart of tuberose and base notes of blond woods and musk.

The original Flash has top notes of strawberry, tangerine and pink pepper, heart notes of tuberose, jasmine and white lily and base notes of heliotrope and blond woods.

Flash London Club opens as a lovely, fresh, clean scent like the original. As it dries down it is quite musky and it loses a lot of what reminds me of Flash.
One thing I noticed straight away was that it has very poor projection. I don't notice this on myself like I do with the original Flash and I have seen others say the same.

It is a lovely perfume. It's a shame it doesn't project well.

A lot of people said that the name, Flash London Club was tacky and I do find it a bit cringeworthy. The bottle has also been attacked, having glitter around the bottom. It doesn't come off very easily, but it can come off.
I like the deep purple colour of the glass, but I must admit I prefer the design of the original bottle and I much prefer the scent of the original Flash as well.

The original Flash is my favourite perfume so although this limited edition doesn't live up to the original it is still really nice and I'm really glad to have the 100ml bottle.

More perfume excitement!

Today I got to try the new Marc Jacobs fragrances Daisy Delight and Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight, which I found when I was shopping!
I asked in Boots and they said they would be getting them in and said the Marc Jacobs summer editions usually come in around April, but last year I bought the Sunshine editions in February so hopefully they'll get them in really soon as I want the advantage card points!
Both fragrances are delightful. It was love at first sniff.

I also got to try Escada's summer fragrance, Born In Paradise, which has only just hit the shops today. It is exotic and tropical.
It has top notes of pineapple and coconut milk, heart notes of watermelon, green apple and guava and woody and musky notes in the base.
It is very different. I really like this one.

I have still been unable to find Jimmy Choo's Flash London Club in the 100ml bottle. I want it so bad, but the department stores only had 1 or 2 bottles of the 60ml in!

I ended up buying Nina Ricci's La Tentation de Nina from Boots and I got a free Nina Ricci bag with it. I don't use these free products so I usually put them on ebay to get back some of the money I paid for the perfume. Some freebies go for a fortune as well.

More 2014 perfumes!

I have already mentioned in previous posts that I really want to try the Marc Jacobs fragrances, Daisy Delight and Daisy Eau So Fresh Delight, which are coming out in the next few months.

I have tried Jimmy Choo Flash London Club, which I love, but I am struggling to find a 100ml bottle! I also want Nina Ricci's La Tentation de Nina, which came out in January. I have tried it in store and it is really nice, but I haven't purchased it yet.

Other 2014 fragrances that I am looking forward to trying are Jimmy Choo's Exotic 2014 version.
There was an Exotic released last year, which smells like berries combined with the signature from the original Jimmy Choo fragrance. I love it.
That was the pink coloured one, but this year will see the release of Exotic in orange, which I'm sure will be just as delicious.

Another fragrance that I'm sure I will like is Vera Wang Be Jeweled Rouge. Just looking at the bottle you can tell it is going to smell like berries and sure enough the notes are red currant, gardenia, sweet pralines and woody and musk accords.
I think this fragrance is out already, but I haven't seen or tried it yet.
