July Favourites 2015!

There are a few things I've been loving this month that I thought I should share.

I have been using Tresemme's colour protect hair conditioner even though my hair is not coloured. I love the scent of Tresemme and it is really nourishing. I really noticed the difference when I had used this up and started using a different conditioner. I really love this product!

I bought this silver rhodolite flower ring a few months ago from QVC. I have been wearing it loads recently. It has lots of sparkle.

I'm really happy with my mascara at the moment. I am using Maybelline's Rocket mascara. It is waterproof (although you can get a non-waterproof version) and although the brush looks like nothing special I find that it coats my lashes really well. I think this may have to be a repurchase!

I have had a sample pot of Clinique's Moisture Surge Intense cream for a while and I am down to the very last few applications now. I absolutely love it. It is really light and hydrating. I often use it underneath my concealer to make sure it doesn't go cakey.

I bought a bottle of this Radox pink grapefruit and basil shower gel a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It has a really strong, refreshing scent that really wakes you up. I will definitely be buying it again.

I bought this MakeUp Revolution lipstick in shade Treat. It is a nude pink shade and it goes on so easily. It only cost £1.00 from Superdrug and I think it is better quality than my £40.00 Tom Ford lipstick! The only annoying thing about it is the lid keeps coming off when it is in my handbag!

I love my black jeans by The Collection at Debenhams. I don't wear jeans a lot, but these are really comfortable and they fit perfectly. I don't even have to wear a belt with them.

I am still loving my New Look boots which I have previously posted about and I think they featured in my March favourites! They are really comfortable and I love the look of them! I wish I had bought ten pairs as I feel as though when these are worn out I'm going to be looking for another pair of boots like these for the rest of my life!

New 2015 fragrances

There are lots of new fragrances coming out that I am looking forward to trying. I have been waiting for Marc Jacobs Violet to come out for a while. I am looking forward to trying it out.

Marc Jacobs are also releasing Daisy Dream Forever. Daisy Dream came out last year and was one of my least favourite Marc Jacobs fragrances. I think Marc Jacobs pushes too many fragrances out. It is releasing 4 new bottles of fragrance each year! I do love the original Daisy line though!

Jimmy Choo have released Exotic for the third year running with a new bottle design. I love that fragrance.
Jimmy Choo also have a new fragrance coming out called Illicit. I have loved every Jimmy Choo fragrance that has been released yet so I have high hopes for this one.

Vera Wang Hippie Princess is out now. I love the Princess line and I have tried this one and I am a fan! I hope to add this to my collection soon.

Finally Miu Miu are coming out with their first fragrance, Miu Miu which I look forward to trying.

I'm sure there'll be plenty more exciting releases before the year is out and hopefully I'll get the chance to get my hands on a few of these bottles!

Iron Fist shoes

I am loving the latest Iron Fist shoe designs. In the past there have only been a few of their designs I've liked, but they seem to be coming out with cuter, more feminine designs now.

Nearly all of their designs have a peep toe and I must admit I prefer closed toe shoes, but they have some lovely designs. Here are a few that they have on their website at the minute.

I love the pastel shades of the Cupcake heels although I can't imagine myself buying a pair.

I also love the colour and the busy design of these Sweet Tooth wedges, but I am not a fan of wearing skulls. I love cute prints, but I don't find skulls cute. I am also not a big fan of the Alexander McQueen skull print scarves. I just don't get the whole skull print thing on women's clothes and accessories.

I was impressed to see so many nice designs on their website.

5 Stunning Shoe Picks!

Here are five shoe picks I have my eye on at the minute.

I LOVE these amazing ASOS shoes! They are stunning! ASOS come out with some amazing shoes. They cost £45.00, which I think is well worth it for such gorgeous shoes!

I love the subtle pink of these Irregular Choice Hello Ha shoes and the cute yellow bow finishes them off nicely. Their famous perspex heels are great as well and as they are quite chunky they're fairly comfortable! These are currently on offer for £63.99.

These New Look shoes are a lovely colour as well and would be a nice addition to my shoe collection after the similarly designed Shoe Box and Tesco heels I have shown in previous posts. I love them in this mint colour.

Office have these simple nude heels with a mini platform, which are also on offer for just £30.00 reduced from £60.00. You can't go wrong with a nice pair of nude heels!

I love Steve Madden shoes and this strappy design is currently on offer for just £34.00 reduced from £69.00. I love these!

Avon's Christian Lacroix fragrance range

I know it is barely summer yet, but I have been looking forward to autumn since early spring! I love autumn, but last year was the first year I got really excited for it and the thought of pumpkin scented candles is what excites me the most!

I have been admiring my rather large perfume collection today and I came across some lovely scents that remind me of autumn including Avon's Christian Lacroix fragrances, which I think are more appropriate for autumn and winter as they are quite spicy and heavy.

They have released four fragrances in this range so far and I have collected all of them. They are available exclusively through Avon.

Rouge was the first to be released in 2007. I initially didn't like it as it is quite a heavy, spicy scent, but it has really grown on me. I only tend to wear it in the autumn and winter as I think it is a bit too heavy for spring and summer.

Absynthe was the second release in 2009. It is also quite spicy, but has floral and earthy dimensions as well. It is quite unusual and it lasts well.

Nuit came next in 2011 and it is another lovely scent. It is spicy, but also has a sweet, creamy musk in it and it is a lot more wearable than the previous two releases. It is one of my fragrances that springs to mind when I think of the autumn approaching.

Ambre is the latest fragrance which came out in 2014 and it is a lot sweeter than the others. It has notes of berries and caramel. Amber is also one of the base notes giving the fragrance a slightly heavier scent.

I think there will be more fragrances added to this line eventually. They also do a masculine version of each of the fragrances in the range. I have tried some of them and they're really nice as well.

Chanel Chance Eau Vive And The Chance Collection

So Chanel Chance Eau Vive came out on Friday 12th June and I was lucky enough to get my hands on a bottle.

I bought it from Boots for £79.00 for the 100ml bottle.

Chance Eau Vive is actually a lovely scent. I don't like it as much as the original Chance or Chance Eau Fraiche, but it is still really nice.

It is quite citrusy to begin with, but the jasmine quickly kicks in and takes the fragrance in another direction. As the fragrance settles it has a gentle, woody scent, but it is still dominated by the citrus and jasmine.

I have all of the different Chance fragrances. The first one I bought was Chance Eau Tendre (pink, but looks a bit yellow in the photo below - still smells the same), which I liked the best at the time. I got the 100ml bottle, but I went off it a bit. I still like Chance Eau Tendre, but it is quite a generic fragrance. It is fruity and it reminds me of Marc Jacobs Daisy.
When the limited edition 150ml Chance bottles came out I bought Chance eau de toilette and also the Chance Eau Fraiche eau de toilette in 150ml bottles. At first the original was my favourite and then Chance Eau Fraiche became my favourite, but they are both amazing.

Chance Eau Vive is the only one that hasn't been my favourite yet and I can't honestly see it overtaking Chance and Chance Eau Fraiche, but I think it is probably my third favourite in the range before Chance Eau Tendre.

I love the Chance range. I can't see any more fragrances being added to the line in the near future, but I like that they take time over their fragrance compositions instead of pushing four bottles per year out like Marc Jacobs are at the minute.
