A Few Shoe Picks!

There are so many shoes I have seen that I like lately. I really like these Ted Baker Peetch metallic heels. Metallic shoes can look cheap and tacky, but these are well done. I love the straight heel and the colour.

I really like these patterned block heel shoes from M&S. They differ from my usual shoe style, but I think they look great!

I love these Ruby Shoo Lola shoes in grey. The fabrics used are lovely and the purple flower and piping are the perfect finishing touches. I even like the pattern on the inside of these shoes.

Another lovely Ruby Shoo pair are these Dee shoes with black and white checks and a light pink flower. The  Mary Jane strap completes them. They could easily dress up a casual dress.

I love the pastel colours and the design of these Iron Fist Lick Me hidden platform heels. Iron Fist do so many different fun shoe designs.

April Favourites 2016!

Here are a few of my favourite items that I have been using in April 2016. I can't believe April is almost over already.

I have found myself reaching for Jimmy Choo Flash London Club a lot this month. The original Flash fragrance is one of my favourite fragrances and Flash London Club has a similar scent.

I have been wearing my diamond cluster ring a lot this month. I absolutely love the design and I prefer yellow gold jewellery.

I have had a lot of wear from my brown New Look belt this month. I tend to go for quite wide, chunky belts. I'm very happy with this one.

I received my Burt's Bees lip balm in a gift set from my sister and since I used up my favourite EOS lip balm I have been using this one. It has a peppermint flavour and feels very cooling when applied.

I love this Studio MakeUp eyeliner pen. The tip goes to a fine point so it is very precise and easy to apply.

My sister bought me a gift set of mini Impulse sprays a while ago and I have been using this miniature Impulse in True Love which has a scent of fressia and tangerine. It is one of the better Impulse sprays.

I have mentioned my black jeans from The Collection at Debenhams before. I have some new ones exactly the same on order as I love these and have worn them loads.

I have only worn these light blue shoes once but I love them. The colour actually leans slightly more towards green than the stock picture shows, but I can't pick it up on my camera very well either. They are the perfect height; not too high but not too low and they look great with jeans.

April Jeans And Shoes Haul!

The other day I ordered 3 new pairs of jeans! I have 2 pairs of jeans by The Collection at Debenhams and I really like them so I thought I'd buy some new ones.

The first pair I bought are the same as a pair I already own. I bought them at the beginning of last year. I have been wearing them a lot this month so I decided to get a pair in reserve.
They are black bootcut jeans.

I also bought some similar black stretch bootcut jeans.

The third and final pair I bought were these indigo wash bootcut jeans. I hope I like them all when they arrive.

I also managed to get my hands on the shoes I mentioned in my post at the beginning of April that had been out of stock in my size. Not only did I get the red ones and the yellow ones I included in my blog I also managed to find them in two more colours and I couldn't resist buying them all!!

I love all of them. The pastel ones above are gorgeous. I love colourful, fun shoes!

I also ordered one of the other pairs of patent pointed shoes that I'd had my eye on in light blue. I have worn these ones already. I love them.

ASOS adverts!

ASOS seem to have adverts following me around the internet at the minute.

I bought the amazing shoes I mentioned in a previous post!

I love them. They are quite difficult to get on. Luckily there is a piece of elastic on the back strap otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get them on. They're gorgeous and although they don't look the highest of heels, they are quite steep and I can imagine they will start to really hurt after a short period of walking around.

I have since seen that ASOS also do them in black.

I adore the black ones as well. They look stunning on the model.
The side profile picture shows how steep your foot will be in these hills.

Should I have bought the black ones instead? I will definitely wear the ones I bought. They are gorgeous!

The adverts that have been following me around the internet have showed me a few more of ASOS's lovely products.
I love this maxi dress!

I also really like this Frock and Frill 2-in-1 dress.

Sorry to go back to shoes, but I really like these as well, but I'm not sure which colour I'd go for. I think my favourites are either the black ones or the silver ones.

ASOS has impressed me lately. I used to love ASOS and at one point I used to browse the site every day and then I went through a long period of ordering very little from them. I love their stuff at the minute!

5 Stunning Shoe Picks!

Here are five shoe picks I have my eye on at the minute.

I LOVE these amazing ASOS shoes! They are stunning! ASOS come out with some amazing shoes. They cost £45.00, which I think is well worth it for such gorgeous shoes!

I love the subtle pink of these Irregular Choice Hello Ha shoes and the cute yellow bow finishes them off nicely. Their famous perspex heels are great as well and as they are quite chunky they're fairly comfortable! These are currently on offer for £63.99.

These New Look shoes are a lovely colour as well and would be a nice addition to my shoe collection after the similarly designed Shoe Box and Tesco heels I have shown in previous posts. I love them in this mint colour.

Office have these simple nude heels with a mini platform, which are also on offer for just £30.00 reduced from £60.00. You can't go wrong with a nice pair of nude heels!

I love Steve Madden shoes and this strappy design is currently on offer for just £34.00 reduced from £69.00. I love these!

My Desired Items!

There are lots of things on the want list at the minute!

I really want the new Vera Wang Hippie Princess eau de toilette. It is very uplifting and it has a summery feel.

I could do with a new handbag. I really like this New Look design and it is reasonably priced at £34.99. It is a great size and I love the colour.

I really love the shape of these round toe platform heels from New Look. They come in lots of different colours, but these lilac ones would be amazing for the spring/summer months. They are well worth £19.99.

I have had my eye on this gorgeous tanzanite and diamond ring for ages. I adore the design. I love the way the stones cross the ring diagonally. The design is amazing. This ring is from H Samuel.

I love this dress from Oasis. It's so bright and colourful and it can be dressed up or down. It costs £35.00. It has great reviews on the website from people who have bought it too.

More Sales Purchases 2015

Happy New Year! I have broken one of my New Year's resolutions already! I was going to try to make planned purchases instead of impulse buying, but I've been off work today, having a lazy day, browsing the internet and I have ended up making a few purchases.

Since Boxing Day I have found myself shopping online in the sales and have ended up spending a fortune on things that I didn't necessarily need, but would have cost a fortune more!

I wanted to buy some new boots because at the end of November I bought these amazing boots from New Look for just £14.00 reduced from £27.99 and I haven't stopped wearing them since.

They look even better in real life and they go with everything and they are unbelievably comfortable. I was going to buy them again so that when they wear out I have a spare pair, but they sold out quite quickly and there are loads of New Look boots I've had my eye on so I decided to buy a few more pairs of boots a few days ago:
I ordered this pair for just £15.00 reduced from £34.99.
I'm hoping these flat boots will be really comfortable. I love the look of them. They cost £15.00 reduced from £29.99.

I bought these 'dark red' boots with the contrast sole for £18.00 reduced from £59.99.

These tan boots also have a lighter coloured sole and I thought they'd look really nice with a good pair of jeans and again I'm hoping they'll be comfortable. These cost £18.00 reduced from £59.99.

Finally I bought these black boots for £20.00 reduced from £44.99.
They haven't arrived yet, but I'm hoping they'll all be ok. I never know whether or not to go a size up for boots. I'm usually a size 4 in heels  and a size 5 in flats and I thought I'd bought my lovely brown New Look boots in a size 4, but when I looked they are actually a size 5 and I've ordered all of the heeled boots in a size 4 this time so hopefully they will still fit ok and I won't have to take them back to attempt to change them as I'll be lucky if the shops will have any left in size 5.

Yesterday I found another fabulous offer from Boots. I bought Yves Saint Laurent's Dare To Be gift set, which has a 30ml bottle of Opium eau de toilette, a lipstick and a nail polish, both in very wearable colours. The gift set was an amazing £25.00 reduced from £50.00. The lipstick on its own costs £25.00 so it's as if you're getting the fragrance and nail polish for free!
I was really chuffed with that purchase, but they have now sold out and I'm worried that they will send an email saying it was out of stock. I always think that is going to happen, but to be fair sometimes it does. Look at my first blog post from December when my Elizabeth Arden lipstick gift set was unavailable at Debenhams. I was really disappointed, but managed to get the same set at House Of Fraser.

This morning I remembered that when I'd tried to buy the Elizabeth Arden gift set from Debenhams I found that I had £15.00 of beauty points to spend there, but they were refunded when they couldn't fulfil the order so I had a look at their website to see if there was anything nice I could spend them on.

I decided on Marc Jacobs Dot gift set containing the eau de parfum, a 75ml shower gel and a 75ml body lotion.

The website suggests that this is a 125ml fragrance, but I'm pretty sure the largest bottle of Dot is only 100ml so yet another screw up by Debenhams.
It was only £35.35 reduced from £53.00, but I got it for £20.35 as I had £15 of beauty points.

This afternoon I found myself on Topshop's website where I ordered this pretty, pink, lace collar top, which was £8.00 reduced from £16.00.

I also bought 2 plain black vest tops both the same. I like Topshop's vest tops. They were £6 each or 2 for £10 so I bought 2.

I then put in another order with New Look.
I bought a pair of light blue canvas shoes, which will be great for spring and summer. I think these shoes will be quite easy to wear as well; they will go with a lot of outfits. These were only £4.00 and they were only £7.99 before they were reduced.

I also bought these burgundy patent heels. I feel bad for buying these as I have so many pairs of heels and I have loads of pairs I have never worn, but they were only £7.00 down from £14.99.
They are a sensible height so I should get plenty of wear out of them.

I also bought some jeans. I have been thinking of getting a new pair of jeans for a while. I really don't think I've bought a normal pair of every day jeans since 2010!
I have bought a few coloured pairs of jeans and one or two pairs of skinny jeans, but I have hardly worn them.
I used to be in skirts and dresses all of the time, but the last year I have found myself wearing more and more smart trousers and occasionally old pairs of jeans.
I was planning to buy an expensive pair, but thought I'd start out with these ones from New Look. I had heard about New Look doing a great range of jeans at a good price and these were just £12.99 and that is there full price so I'll have to see how I find them.

So that concludes my sales spending for now. Hopefully the rest of the year won't be quite so expensive!
