More July Shopping!

I mentioned in my previous post that I notice a lot of adverts on facebook for random clothing websites that I've never heard off.

Today I discovered www.sammydress.com and bought a few things for my holidays.

I love this white dress and it was only £5.89! Stylish and comfortable!

This green dress is lovely too and had to be ordered as it was just £5.69.

I also found these beautiful shorts. I absolutely love them and they were only £5.08!

I also bought this lovely forest green dress, which is more of an autumn/winter item and cost a whole £7.50.

The website seems reasonably good. There is plenty of variety, which is great for me as I love to flick through pages and pages of items rather than clicking on skirts to find that they only have about six skirts for sale!
The postage is calculated by the weight of items so the more you buy the more you pay, which is annoying because it makes it difficult to add up how much you are spending until you reach the checkout by which point you have set your heart on everything in your basket.
Also the sizing sounds a bit of a gamble. There's no size 8,10,12.. It is all small, medium and large and using their size charts. Some tops I looked at just say 'one size', which is obviously not going to fit everyone.
The sizing is Asian so you may have to go larger, but as a size 10 I don't enjoy putting 2XL items in my basket.
I'll have to wait and see if anything fits when it arrives.

Recent purchases

I have bought a few things recently. I bought the red skirt I mentioned in my post earlier this month from Oasis where it was further reduced to just £8.00 and I bought the jelly sandals from New Look today in black for just £7.00.

The skirt is gorgeous. I wore it a few days ago with a cute white top. It feels good quality and is heavy enough not to fly up in the wind.

I wore the sandals today and they didn't rub at all. They're really good.

I also got a new dress about a week ago. I have found lots of foreign clothing websites, which advertise on facebook recently and I found this dress on one of them. I think it was about £30.00, but I found the same dress on ebay from an international seller for around £15.00.

The dress was also available in a pastel purple colour and a pastel green colour and I was tempted to buy the other two as well as I was really unsure which colour I wanted. I love them all.

Irregular Choice Wedding Shoes

I shouldn't be allowed to visit websites where you can shop online!
Tonight I had a quick look on letsbuyshoes.com and I did just that; I bought shoes.
I'd been looking at Irregular Choice Lemon Pips for a while as I was considering them as possibilities for my wedding day shoes. They are around £79.99 elsewhere, but I got them for just £39.50 plus postage. They have been on their website for a while, but when I checked tonight they finally had them in my size so I was thrilled and ordered them without a further thought.

Studying the first photo and looking at the heel the shoes look lower than they actually are. I am torn between three different pairs now for my wedding day.
These ones are called Lemon Pips, but I also have a pair called No Place Like Home and a pair called Can't Touch This both also from Irregular Choice, which are competitors.

No Place Like Home

I love these No Place Like Home shoes. They are covered in white sequins and are very pretty. I also now have them in red, which are a lot more glitzy and gorgeous, but these white ones seem more wedding appropriate.

Can't Touch This

I love these shoes, but my pair have little black marks on the front, which puts me off wearing them for my wedding. I have them in at least 7 different colours because I'm obsessive, but this is the only colour I really fancy as a wedding day contender.
I wore a pair of Can't Touch This yesterday for a friend's wedding and two people I didn't know stopped me to say they loved them, both recognising them as Irregular Choice. I also found that they were comfortable enough to wear all day. There were periods where I was seated, but a lot of the day I was on my feet and they were comfortable, but admittedly did start to ache the balls of my feet towards the end of the day, but I find this with most heels. I was impressed with how comfortable these were.

These are the shoes I wore:

Leave a comment if you have a favourite pair out of the ones I have mentioned.

My top 10 picks!

Trying to cut my spending is hard work. I have spotted so many things that I really want recently.

There are so many bright and beautiful clothes out for summer. Here are some pictures of what I'm lusting after at the moment.

The white spotty blazer is from boohoo.com

The 'raspberry red' chinos are from H&M where they are just £8.00 reduced from £14.99 so very tempting.

The turquoise structured skater dress is £35.00 from ASOS.com. I am not usually a fan of sleeves. I prefer sleeveless dresses as I'm always too hot, but this dress looks lovely.

The 'ochre' skirt is from ASOS.com for just £14.00.

The gorgeous red skirt is from Oasis where it is just £18.00 reduced from £25.00.

I really want to try The Body Shop's passion fruit shower gel. I love the smell of passion fruit and I doubt it can be anything, but amazing. This is currently on thebodyshop.co.uk for £3.00 reduced from £4.00 for the 250ml  bottle.

The colour block barrel bag is gorgeous and is also reduced from Oasis from £38.00 to £28.00.

I'm also really keen to try MAC's 224 tapered blending brush, which is £23.00 at Debenhams.

I have heard good things about Escada's Magnetism perfume, which I think it is about time I tried. It is currently available on allbeauty.com for £32.50 for the 75ml eau de parfum.

I also found these flat jelly sandals on my snoop around the internet. I thought the turquoise ones were nice, but you can also buy them in black, white, beige, clear sparkly and bright pink. They are from New Look for £7.49 reduced from £9.99.
