My 2015 perfumes!

In my opinion 2015 hasn't been a great year for fragrance.

I got 9 newly released fragrances this year which is less than 2013 and 2014, although there are a few on the want list that still haven't made their way into my collection.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Sorbet and Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet were released at the beginning of 2015 both of which are lovely. I have bought the Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh limited edition releases over the past few years and they have all been really nice.
Daisy Sorbet is a lovely white floral scent with a hint of sweet violet. It is very uplifting and it makes me think of springtime.

Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet is a much sweeter, fruitier scent. It is my favourite of the two which is great because it comes in a larger 75ml bottle; Daisy Sorbet comes in a 50ml bottle.

Nina Ricci Delices de Nina was also released early in the year. It is quite sweet and is an obvious relative of the original Nina with its metallic-like scent. I have to admit it is similar to other Nina Ricci releases in the apple shaped bottles, but I do really like it.

I bought Chanel Chance Eau Vive as soon as it came out. It is a nice addition to the Chance line. It has its own personality. It is citrusy but also floral. I really like it, but the original Chance and Chance Eau Fraiche are my favourites from this amazing line.

DKNY Delicious Delights Dreamsicle is a sweet, peach scented fragrance. It is light and summery. This was released alongside Delicious Delights Cool Swirl and Delicious Delights Fruity Rooty and although I think they're all terribly named they are all great, original scents; not smelling similar to the other fragrances from the Be Delicious line.

DKNY Delicious Delights Cool Swirl is pistachio scented. It is quite sweet, but it also has a play-doh type scent to it.

DKNY Delicious Delights Fruity Rooty combines delicious, sweet berries with violet and rose. This is the sweetest of the three fragrances.
I couldn't choose a favourite of the three Delicious Delights fragrances. They are all so different and uniquely delightful.

I got Marc Jacobs Violet for Christmas. It has a sweet, creamy floral scent with a touch of fizziness. It doesn't really smell like violets at all to me.

I ordered Vera Wang Hippie Princess online today. I tried it when it first came out and really liked it. It is a sweet, fruity scent. I wonder if 2016 will see another Princess release.

There are some other fragrances from 2015 that I do want to add to my collection, but have not purchased yet, Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Forever, Jimmy Choo Illicit and Marc Jacobs Decadence being the main fragrances I have my eye on!

My Post Christmas Purchases!

I have to say I haven't been very impressed with the sales, but that doesn't mean that I haven't spent an absolute fortune since Christmas.

On boxing day I ordered Lolita Lempicka Sweet eau de parfum. I hadn't been able to find a tester so it was a blind buy. It arrived this morning and I'm very pleased with it. It opens with a cherry scent and it also has sweet floral notes. It is quite a subtle fragrance.

I also got the Real Techniques mini brush set with 3 small brushes in it. The brushes are even smaller than I expected, all less the 4 inches long.

I also ordered this Yankee tart burner which I think is gorgeous. It hasn't arrived yet though.

I also bought myself these gorgeous 9ct gold triangular diamond stud earrings. I absolutely love them. The pictures don't do them justice.

I also got this check patterned scarf. I love the colours. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Gucci Blooms Print Pumps

I am so tempted by Gucci's Blooms Print Pumps!

I love the design. They are supposed to come in gold, cerise and emerald green, but I wouldn't describe the colours quite like that. The gold shoe looks almost silver, the cerise a dark red and the green shoe leans a bit too much towards blue for your average emerald.

I think out of the three colours I'd actually get more wear out of the 'emerald green' pair.

The heel height is 95mm. They also do a 75mm option in 'blush pink', which I also love.

I would love to find these waiting for me under the Christmas tree!

My Hilariously Hideous Christmas Shoes!

I've never had a Christmas jumper but I have these hilarious shoes that I could pass off as 'Christmas shoes'. I got them a few years ago.

I really hated them at first but as I scrolled past them more and more on the Irregular Choice website I started to think they were so bad that I had to have them.

Check out the glittery 1cm heel.

They are Irregular Choice Rockhoppers and they also come in a far-too-wearable dark blue. The dark blue colour is lovely, but I talked myself into getting the purple ones because they are even more hideous.

The snow where the penguin stands is made from fake fur and the snow drops are furry as well.

I still haven't worn them, although I was tempted last year. I will have to put them on between now and Christmas.
